Dear Dallas Security Traders Association Members and Sponsors,
As we begin another year, the DSTA is embarking upon several new formats for our calendar of events. These changes are designed to increase the effectiveness of the organization and enhance the benefits you receive as members and sponsors. We are renewing our focus on charitable activities, scheduling networking efforts locally and outside of Dallas and expanding the line-up of content and commentary at our annual convention.
Our plan is to have at least two charitable functions in the spring, most likely for the Ronald McDonald House and Habitat for Humanity. We want to have a strong follow-up to our effort in 2016 which won the national STA Big Heart Award.
As part of our outreach effort we have networking events planned in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston as well as buy-side roundtables scheduled quarterly.
For our 2017 Texas Traders Convention the format has been expended to include presentations and panels on both Thursday and Friday afternoons of the convention. Our goal is to provide content that includes an update of STA efforts on the national level, regulatory and market structure current issues and other interesting topics relevant to the financial markets.
The DSTA appreciates all of the generous support given by sponsors and attendees over the years that allows our organization to provide the events and outreach. Thank you and we look forward to a great 2017.
